Cemento Collection is a handmade tile supplier based in Englewood, New Jersey, founded in 2016. It sources zellige, terrazzo, cement, terracotta, ceramic and porcelain tile directly from workshops in Morocco, Italy and Spain, and ships nationwide across the United States to homeowners, interior designers and contractors.
We buy direct from those workshops rather than through distributors. That is why a Cemento order arrives with variation in it — and why we tell you that before you order rather than after.
Where our tile comes from
Handmade tile is a craft before it is a product. Zellige is cut and glazed by hand in Fez, Morocco — every piece a slightly different size, every glaze pooling differently in the kiln. Terrazzo is poured and ground in Italy and Spain. Terracotta is fired from clay that carries the color of the ground it came out of.

Handmade tile does not photograph accurately. Glaze depth, surface texture and the exact tone of a color all read differently in a room than on a screen. Request a sample before you order — sample pricing varies by product and is shown on each tile's page. Browse sample tiles.

Variation is the point
No two handmade tiles are identical. Color shifts across a batch, edges are irregular, and glaze pools differently on every piece. Order from a single lot and blend boxes across the installation.
